Snowpocalypse

This winter Pittsburgh was buried under record-breaking snowfalls. Here are a few memories from that wonderful time.

Skiing 08-09

Through a combination of finishing most classes, being a training director at Husky Winter Sports , two seasons passes, and a burning desire to ski, I was lucky enough to get to ski 51 days this season. This page includes my journal detailing each of those 51 days, as well as some videos and photos from that year.

Light up Juggling Clubs

Carnegie Mellon's Masters of Flying Objects juggling club holds at least one night-juggling session each semester where jugglers make beautiful patterns with light up balls. My friend David and I wanted to have light up clubs this semester, so we decided to make our own light-up clubs. Photos and video included.

Seattle to Pittsburgh Roadtrip

In the summer of 2009 my mom and I drove across the U.S. as I moved from Seattle to Pittsburgh to study at Carnegie Mellon. This map shows our route, the pictures we took, and the adventures we encountered along the way. NOTE: There are two pages of annotations. To see the rest of the trip, scroll down the sidebar and go to the next page.

Rafting the Allegheny

In the summer of 2008 my friends Bryan, Chris, and I built a raft and floated it for 3 days (30 miles) down the Allegheny river. Chris wrote a fantastic writeup of the trip. Also, a video of our adventure.

UW Jugglers

I started a juggling club at the University of Washington as a sophomore. It's grown quite a bit since then, and now has about 10 regular members. Check out our club website.
